Geothermics is an attractive technology that can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. However, it remains insufficiently developed in Brussels compared to its potential. In this context, a talk was organised by partners of the Brugeo project in order to look at the current situation of geothermics in Brussels and promote its development.

A conference gathering most European professionals working in geothermics was held on February 15 and 16, 2017, in Offenburg (Germany). In the 10 years since its launch, GeoTHERM has become an essential event for engineering firms, architects, geologists, drillers, researchers, officials, etc. with an interest in topics related to geothermics.
