The Geological Survey of Belgium's contribution to the Brugeo project is its in-depth geological knowledge of the ground below Brussels. It recently contributed to the creation of a 3D geological model of the Brussels-Capital area. The Brugeo project will also benefit from the GSB's geothermics research activities both in Belgium and abroad. The Geological Survey of Belgium is in charge of coordinating the various on-site tests conducted as part of the project.
